Bruce E. Hopper, Esq.
Attorney Hopper's practice concentrates in Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, School Law, Elder Law and Civil Litigation. He is a certified Mediator. Attorney Hopper serves on the legal panel for the Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Worcester County Bar Association. He has served as an adjunct professor at The College of the Holy Cross and a guest lecturer/instructor at Worcester State College, the Federation For Children With Special Needs, the Worcester and Auburn Public Schools and various churches. He has served as a mentor for the public defender program in Worcester Juvenile Court.
Prior to his own practice, Attorney Hopper was an associate at the civil litigation defense firm of Cornell and Gollub in Boston. Previously he worked in the legal department at Fidelity Investments and, even earlier, for the Massachusetts Attorney General in the Pubic Protection Bureau. Attorney Hopper graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. He graduated cum laude from Northeastern University, majoring in finance, and studied liberal arts at the University of Colorado. He is involved in a variety of civic activities, including coaching, the Boy Scouts of America (locally and nationally), Special Olympics and serving on town committees. He served on the legal team during the 2000 Presidential Florida recount. Attorney Hopper is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
